Disputes, abuse and legal procedures

This page describes how reports are processed, the rules applicable to offending users, and the conditions under which data may be disclosed to the competent authorities. To report content, use the Report abuse.

Processing of reports and disputes

The operator of www.meetyourescort.com and its mobile versions provides a comprehensive reporting system. It allows anyone to report breaches of our terms of use, unlawful or non-consensual content, and to challenge the removal of content depicting them.

Each case is examined promptly and fairly. Our goal is to handle all reports and appeals within five (5) business days, to remedy identified breaches and to provide clear guidance to prevent recurrence. Once a breach is established, the appropriate measure is applied. Any content found to be unlawful is removed immediately.

If content depicting you has been removed and you believe this measure was unjustified, notify us by email at admin@meetyourescort.com: the decision will be reviewed. No action is taken against a user for events that occurred on another platform or outside our services. Where a disagreement regarding consent cannot be settled internally, it is referred to an independent arbitrator whose fees we bear. As soon as a decision is made or further details are required from you, we get back to you by email or any other electronic means.

Manual pre-publication review of listings

Before any publication, every listing undergoes a manual and individual review by our moderation team: verification of photographs and texts, consistency checks, detection of non-compliance signals. No publication is automated. This review notably aims to ensure that no minor is present on the platform and to rule out any suspicious, misappropriated or fraudulent profile; any doubtful listing is placed in precautionary quarantine, invisible to the public, pending further checks. Any suspicion involving a minor triggers priority handling, immediate removal of the content concerned and, where applicable, referral to the competent authorities.

Repeat offences and serious breaches

We reserve the ability to apply strengthened measures against (1) users who repeatedly breach our rules, or (2) anyone committing a particularly serious breach on their first occurrence. These measures may include, without limitation, permanent closure of the account and future exclusion from the platform.

Judicial requests and law enforcement

The operator of www.meetyourescort.com (hereinafter “we”) applies a strict rule: no information relating to our users is disclosed without their express consent, except where required by a court decision, a search warrant, a formal request or any duly notified legal procedure. Any data disclosure request must be sent to the legal contact indicated in the “Practical arrangements” section below.

Requests from law-enforcement agencies

We support the work of law-enforcement agencies in carrying out their missions and protecting the public. This cooperation includes in particular blocking and reporting any attempt to publish child sexual abuse material (CSAM), as well as contacting the competent services in other situations, with legal advice. Subject to applicable privacy laws, disclosure of user data generally requires a judicial request, and the contents of electronic communications are provided only upon a court order or search warrant. Verify the legal basis of your request before submitting it.

We aim to respond within fifteen (15) business days to regular requests; an additional delay may be necessary in some cases. Any urgent request must describe the nature of the emergency and the usefulness of the requested information given the circumstances. We also respond to data-preservation requests pending formal procedure: provide as many identifying details as possible (listing link, display name, account identifier, email address, legal name, phone number). For payment-fraud investigations, add the last four digits of the card, the cardholder’s name, and the dates, times and amounts of the relevant transactions.

Investigations outside law enforcement

Regarding private parties, a judicial request or court order is generally required before any disclosure of data. We may request additional documents from the requester, in particular certified copies of procedural documents, to verify the relevance of the information sought for the civil or administrative case concerned. Certain categories of data — retained messages, profile content, data revealing the contents viewed or the accounts followed — are disclosed only under a court order with the safeguards necessary to protect confidentiality. Requests must be sent to the legal contact mentioned below.

Practical arrangements

Any request for disclosure of information about a user must specify the pseudonym(s) concerned, a factual account of the events relating to the information sought, and any useful legal documentation, and must be sent by email to the following contact:

Use the subject line “LEGAL PROCESS” for any email accompanying a court order, a warrant, a judicial request or any other valid legal procedure. Use the subject line “URGENT REQUEST” for any email relating to alleged human trafficking, exploitation of minors, or any emergency posing an imminent risk to life, health or safety.

Nothing in this policy constitutes a waiver of formal judicial proceedings, or acceptance of the jurisdiction of any particular state, province or country.

Data retention

Our hosting and backup solutions are neither guaranteed, nor exhaustive, nor regular: given capacity and security constraints, content related to our services and copies thereof may be erased at any time, permanently and irrevocably, with no possibility of later restoration.

As an indication, login sessions expire after seven (7) days and security tokens (password reset, email confirmation) are single-use and very short-lived. Messages removed by moderation are hidden from users while remaining stored in our systems for internal traceability.

When a listing or an account is deleted, active data is removed immediately; however, a snapshot of the corresponding data is kept in an archive area strictly reserved for the moderation team, for traceability and compliance purposes. Where a legally founded preservation request is received from law enforcement, we do our best to preserve the designated data, within the limits of applicable law.

Informing affected users

We may — without being obliged to — notify the affected user before responding to a civil or administrative request, and suspend its execution for ten (10) calendar days to allow them to obtain its cancellation or a protective order from a competent court, except in emergencies or where prohibited by law. Criminal investigations are generally not notified. This document does not constitute legal advice: direct any question to your own counsel.

Other disclosure circumstances

Independently of the previous cases, we may disclose information when we believe, at our sole discretion, that it is justified, in particular to:

  • comply with any legal obligation;
  • identify, contact or bring an action against any person likely to breach the rules governing access to or use of our services;
  • investigate fraud or deceptive practices;
  • protect the security of our systems, servers, facilities and assets;
  • ensure the proper functioning of our services;
  • protect our users, the public and ourselves.

Nothing in these lines is intended to create an obligation to retain or disclose data where the law does not otherwise establish one. Thank you for your cooperation with this policy.
